BATHROOMS

Pamper yourself in the five generously sized bathrooms. Indulge in a refreshing shower or a tranquil bath experience. We provide shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, and an abundance of fluffy towels to create a spa-like ambiance.

KITCHEN

The light-filled kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances, dishes, and cookware and appliances you need to make delicious meals during your stay. This includes two dishwashers, an electric stove, microwave, coffee bar, full size and mini fridge.

DINING SPACE

There is enough room for the entire family in the dining room at the table that seats ten. Need more room? No Problem, there is more seating in the sun room. This is also where the generously stocked coffee bar is located. Here you will find a Keurig Duo, K-Cups, drip coffee, tea, coffee flavoring, and sugar.

LOUNGE

Relax and unwind in the spacious living room, illuminated by ample sunlight streaming through large windows. Enjoy the beautiful ocean views and morning sun rise over the dunes. Spend the evening playing Euchre in the Ships Watch complete with a bar cart for entertaining.

GAME ROOM

Guests of all ages can enjoy the game room. Gather together to enjoy a movie on the large Smart TV. Play a friendly game of foosball or darts. There is something for everyone with the collection of games and puzzles.

OUTSIDE SPACE

The private backyard and patio await your enjoyment. Rejuvenate in the hot tub, surrounded by the natural beauty, after an exhilarating day of fun at the beach. Fire up the BBQ grill and savor a mouthwatering outdoor dinner on the full patio furniture set. Kids and adults alike will adore all of the fun outdoor games. Take a dip in your own private pool and enjoy all of the provided pool floats, sun loungers, and pool towels.

GUEST ACCESS

Feel free to make yourself at home and enjoy the entirety of the house, with the exception of two locked personal closets. These spaces are designated for our personal belongings.

Carova Beach in Corolla NC, offers a unique, unforgettable travel experience. There are no paved roads leading to this vacation spot, just miles of sand tracks that boarder the Atlantic Ocean. The private stretch of beaches allows you to enjoy the peace and quiet and of course all of the untouched natural beauty. Carova is home to many area wildlife including the famous freely roaming Wild Mustangs which you are destine to see staying at Nomad Dunes.

Carova Beach, NC:

Widely considered the Outer Banks' last frontier, Carova is renowned for its miles of privacy, including clean white beaches, and wild mustangs that roam freely from the ocean to Carova's small residential neighborhoods. Carova's seclusion is easy to explain, as there are no paved roads leading to this vacation spot, just miles of sand tracks that border the Atlantic Ocean. Vacationers who love the beach and don't need all the extra fuss flock to the area in small crowds, soaking up private stretches of beaches, and enjoying the peace and quiet.

When NC Highway 12 ends, a ramp to the beach begins which runs parallel to the ocean. The 11 mile stretch of shoreline is virtually deserted, except for passing 4WD vehicles and families camped out on the shoreline. Up ahead, you'll start to see a scattering of sandy roads leading from the beach to small residential communities. Down these sandy lanes, you'll find a range of modern beach homes and sturdy beach boxes. This is the area's only form of civilization, as there are no grocery stores, shopping centers, gas stations, or commercial businesses of any kind.

The ocean temperature stays consistently warm throughout the summer months and into the fall season, so body boarding, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, and ocean kayaking are certainly worth a try. Many vacationers keep their camera ready for wild horse sightings, and the Carova wild mustangs can often be seen wandering along the oceanfront.

Carova vacationers can easily take an excursion a few miles off the sand to Corolla and Duck and enjoy an afternoon of shopping, sightseeing at the Currituck Lighthouse and Whalehead in Historic Corolla, and an evening of dining and drinks before heading back up the beach.

Getting There:

Please be aware that in order to access the property You must have a 4WD vehicle. There are no taxi services available. Before getting on the beach ramp, be sure to air down your tires to around 20 psi for optimal beach driving, be mindful of high/low tide, and while driving stay on the "road," or the sand tracks that lead down the beach above the tide line. It's generally a good idea to bring along a shovel and several boards in case you get stuck, however there are several local towing companies that service the area and can assist in case of an emergency. There are limited paid parking options on the pavement for any vehicles that will not make it through the sand.

Vehicles MUST have a county-issued Beach Parking Permit properly displayed to park on the beach from the last Saturday of April through the first Saturday in October. Guests of Nomad Dunes will be given 2 passes to use during their stay. Additional Beach Parking Permits can be purchased online through the Currituck County website.

NON-SMOKING ACCOMODATIONS -

Our property is strictly non-smoking. We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking to maintain a fresh and clean environment. In the event of a breach, penalty fees and deep cleaning costs of $1,000 or more may be applied.

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS –

Reservations obtained under false pretense will forfeit all rental monies and guests will not be permitted to check-in.

INTERNET and SECURITY CAMERAS –

For your security and peace of mind, we have installed security cameras facing the front and back door areas. Please refrain from disconnecting or interfering with any networking equipment. Unlawful access to illegal or prohibited content or networks is strictly prohibited. Tampering with networking equipment, including security cameras, will result in immediate eviction and the loss of unused nights and security deposit.

HOT TUB –

Enjoy our hot tub while following these guidelines: no food, drinks, smoking, or vaping in or around the tub. Additionally, lotions, soaps, repellants, dyes, toys, and glass are not permitted. If the hot tub is found in an unusable condition, a $125 fee will be charged for draining and refilling. For your safety, the hot tub temperature should be kept below 104 degrees Fahrenheit. By agreeing to these terms, you assume full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury, death, or property damage.

GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY –

Please be considerate of our friendly neighbors. Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am.

BUGS and PESTS –

Our home is surrounded by wilderness and wildlife. The Spring and Summer seasons bring insects you normally wouldn’t experience in the city. Ants and spiders may pay a visit. To keep them away, please keep the counters and floors clean and do not leave any food out overnight. Be mindful of the cleanliness to keep them at bay.

PROPANE -

We gladly provide propane tanks for the grill. If the propane tank runs out during your stay, simply contact us.

PROHIBITED ITEMS -

Illegal/recreational drugs, and firearms are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property or inside the house. Any violation of these rules will result in immediate eviction and the forfeiture of all rental monies.

PETS -

Well behaved dogs will be considered for a pet fee. Please inquire. Please inform us if you are traveling with a Service Animal.

EVENTS, PARTIES OR LARGE GATHERINGS ARE PROHIBITED -

Violation of this policy will result in additional fines and immediate eviction.

CHECK IN –

We will provide you with the house manual and the front door code via e-mail before your check-in. This unique code is specifically assigned to your reservation and changes with each guest for enhanced security. We kindly request that you report any maintenance issues upon your arrival to ensure a pleasant stay.
